Anushka Sharma Biography-

Anushka Sharma was born on 1 May 1988 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh state in India. 

His father Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma is an Army officer and his mother Ashima Sharma is a homemaker. 

His father is a resident of Uttar Pradesh while his mother is from home. His elder brother Carnesh Sharma is a producer who was earlier in the Merchant Navy. 

Before joining the Navy, Carnesh also played cricket for the Bangalore Ranji team. According to Anushka Sharma, Navy's life has greatly impacted her life. 

In an interview given to the Times of India in 2012, Sharma said, "I am proud that I am the daughter of an army officer, I am more proud of this than I am an actor."

Sharma grew up in Bangalore. He studied at Army School and earned a degree in Art from Mount Carmel College. 

Actually she wanted to pursue a career in modeling and journalism and she was not interested in becoming an actress. 

After graduation, Sharma moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in modeling. And he enrolled himself in Elite Model Management and was taught by style consultant Prasad Bidpa. 

In 2007, Sharma performed the first runway (ramp walk) for designer Wendell Rodrik at the Lakme Fashion Week.

After this, he also campaigned for Fiat Palio on many brands like Silk & Shine, Whisper, Nathela Jewelery. After this, Sharma also joined an acting school and started many film role auditions.

She gave a successful audition for the Yash Raj film, and started her Hindi film career with the blockbuster romance film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008). 

For this, he was also nominated for Best Actress Award and Best Female Debut at Filmfare. 

After this, Sharma also did two more film bands Baaja Baaraat (2010) and Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) for the Yash Raj film, followed by the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. 

Sharma's biggest commercial success so far came from the 2014 religious-based film PK (2014) and the sports drama Sultan (2016), both of which have been included in the famous and superhit Indian films.
